Valentín Martínez-Otero Pérez
PhD in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and a PhD in Philosophy and Educational Sciences from the National University of Distance Education (UNED), with an extraordinary award
He specialized in Clinical Psychology at the School of Psychology and Psychotechnics (UCM), has a Master’s Degree in Psychopathology and Health, as well as a Professional Expert in Community Mental Health and Trainer of Trainers. He is a professor-researcher at the Department of Educational Studies (UCM), as well as a guest lecturer, researcher, and teacher at academies and universities in more than 25 countries, both in Spain and in the rest of Europe and Latin America. He has received several awards from the Official College of Psychologists of Madrid for his work in scientific creation and dissemination through the media. He has also been awarded the “Aula de Paz” prize (Mieres, Principality of Asturias). Currently, he is the Director of the Complutense Research Group: “Psychosociobiology of Violence: Education and Prevention”.
