<\/span><\/p>\n Krakow branch was established with the intention of developing and popularizing researches done at the Research and Publishing Institute for Security and Defence Studies at the University of Public and Individual Security \u201cApeiron\u201d in Krakow, Poland, among foreign scientists dealing with security issues. The Krakow centre focuses mainly on security culture issues, especially in the context of its increasingly important segment, which nowadays is explicit need to build a culture of sustainable development.<\/p>\n \u201cApeiron\u201d University has been the organizer of the Security Forum Krakow <\/strong>conference for several years. The conference deals with issues related to broadly understood security. Since 2012, so from the moment of establishing a scientific institute\u00a0 at \u201cApeiron\u201d University, Security Forum Krakow has had the status of an international conference. Security Forum Krakow was organized for the first time in cooperation with CICA International in 2018. That cooperation has been continued since then and currently the conference is named CICA \u2013 Security Forum Krakow.<\/p>\n CICA \u2013 Security Forum Krakow conference is a platform for cooperation of securitologists and experts from the whole world. In recent years in the conference have participated researches from countries such as: Spain, Slovakia, Czechia, Ukraine, Russia, Italy, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, Hungary, Croatia, Australia, Columbia, USA.<\/p>\n In addition to initiating and strengthening international cooperation of securitologists and organizing the scientific conference as a platform for the exchange of ideas, the second important goal of the Institute and the Krakow branch is to conduct publishing activities: comprehensive development and publication of scientific monographs, academic textbooks and scientific articles primarily in the discipline of security sciences but also from related disciplines such as legal sciences, political and administrative sciences, sociological sciences, psychology, economics and finance. In addition to monographies the Institute publishes scientific journals, including the English language \u201cSecurity Dimensions\u201d.
